Marco Khanlian, a true citizen of the world, was born on March 27th to Armenian parents in Tehran, Iran. His father, Levon, was born in Lebanon and raised in Iran, where he met his wife, Anna, born in Babol, Iran. Marco's maternal grandparents hailed from Russia and Georgia.
At the age of 11, Marco and his younger brother left Iran in pursuit of higher education. They were schooled in Venice, Italy, and later in Catalina Island, California. Marco now calls Los Angeles, California, his home.
At the age of 17, Marco picked up English as his fourth language and took on the responsibility of caring for his entire family. For 12 years, he operated a series of restaurants to support his family, during which time he briefly pursued careers in professional soccer, football, and pro wrestling.
After his father's passing, Marco decided to pursue his lifelong passion for acting. His diverse background, looks, and talent have allowed him to play a wide range of characters, achieving success in comedy, action, and drama. Despite his tough exterior, Marco is quiet, gentle, gracious, and sincere.
As a father, Marco loves children and animals, and almost everyone who meets him agrees that there is something special about him. He is a kind and tolerant humanitarian who is relentless in his pursuit of peace. Marco lives by the motto "Never Give Up" and believes that everything happens for a reason, that tests and trials in life shape one's character, and that his destiny is in God's hands.
