Marcus Bradford, a native of Texas, was born in Dallas and grew up in Plano. He developed an early interest in Fine Arts, putting on plays for his family and creating a movie theater in his bedroom. He also joined the school band and got involved in theatre programs, technical theatre, and Communication Major Studies department for Film, Radio, and Television.
During his junior high school years, Marcus created MAB Pictures, a production company that would later become MAB Studios. After graduating from Plano East Senior High in 2002, Marcus attended local college courses and worked numerous day jobs. He later moved to Richardson, Texas, and then to Los Angeles in 2008 to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
Marcus studied at Columbia College Hollywood from 2008-2013 for Film & Television Production. He began working on professional projects, starting with a key grip role on the short film "Wreckless" in 2011. He went on to work on feature films, shorts, web series, and print, eventually becoming a freelancer and earning over 100 credits as a producer, actor, writer, director, and editor.
With ten years of experience in the industry, Marcus has worked for companies such as Lifetime, The Asylum, Showtime, and 20th Century Fox Television. In 2014, he decided to move forward with his own projects, including his written screenplay "Witchula", which he plans to produce independently.
Marcus is currently working on several projects, including "Witchula", which is set to star veteran actress Dee Wallace and other horror genre veterans. He is attached to direct and produce all of his projects and is also an executive producer on other industry projects. In his free time, Marcus enjoys watching TV and movies, eating healthy foods, meditating, listening to music, traveling, and spending time with friends.
