Margarita Franco, a talented Mexican American actress, was born on November 10th in Indio, California. Her mother, hailing from Topo Chico of Monterrey, Mexico, and her father, a native of El Paso, Texas, instilled in her a rich cultural heritage from a young age. Margarita was one of six siblings, and her upbringing was marked by frequent moves to Riverside, California, Orlando, Florida, and Eastside San Jose, California, before ultimately settling in a chaotic family home.
Despite the challenges she faced, Margarita demonstrated remarkable resilience, leaving her family home at the tender age of 15 to pursue her education. She persevered, completing her studies on her own, and subsequently relocated to Los Angeles to chase her acting dreams.
Margarita's dedication to her craft is evident in her extensive training, which includes studying with esteemed professionals such as Carmen Zapata, founder of The Bilingual Foundation of the Arts, and David Alexander and Ken Lerner, experts in the Meisner technique. She continues to hone her skills under the guidance of Christine Kludjian.
Throughout her career, Margarita has made appearances on numerous television shows and films, including NEVER HAVE I EVER, 9-1-1 LONE STAR, WHAT/IF, MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE, and the THREE NINJA'S film franchise, to name a few.
What Margarita is most proud of is her unwavering commitment to her Mexican heritage and her role as a single mother, raising her son with love and dedication.
