Mariel Sheets, a talented individual, was born in Spokane, Washington, and began her illustrious career at the tender age of four by lending her voice to local voiceover and print projects, as well as a national television commercial. This early start sparked a passion that would propel her to attend acting classes alongside teenagers and adults, and even travel to New York City for the 2011 IMTA convention, where she impressively won 22 major awards, including the prestigious "Child Actor of the Year" and "Most Sought After Female Talent" accolades.
These remarkable achievements led to a flurry of representation offers and a trip to Los Angeles, where she signed with CESD Talent and Landis-Simon Management. Mariel made the bold decision to relocate to LA in 2012, accompanied by her artist and photographer parents. She is the proud sibling of two adult sisters, one adult brother, and a nephew who is just a little older than she is.
Since settling in LA, Mariel has continued to diversify her talents, appearing in a wide range of films, television shows, theater productions, commercials, and print campaigns. She has also honed her skills as a voiceover (VO) actor, bringing to life a vast array of characters, from babies to teenagers, boys to girls, and even animals, creatures, and sound effects.
When she's not acting, Mariel enjoys indulging in her creative pursuits, including reading, writing, and acting out her own stories. She is also a skilled artist, adept at drawing, painting, and character design, caricatures, and portraits. In her free time, Mariel loves to skate, swim, and participate in improv activities. Her petite stature allows her to play younger characters when required, making her a versatile and in-demand talent in the entertainment industry.
