Marisa is a multifaceted performer, visual artist, and creative producer, widely recognized for her captivating portrayal of Huilen in the blockbuster Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.
As a graduate of Brown University, Marisa had the privilege of honing her craft at the prestigious National Theater Institute and the St. Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy in Russia.
Upon relocating to New York City, Marisa co-founded Davai Theatre Ensemble, while also pursuing a successful modeling career, appearing in prominent publications such as Latina and Glamour, and producing and performing in Off-Broadway productions.
In Los Angeles, Marisa has secured roles in national commercials, print ads, indie films, and studio films, as well as made memorable appearances in popular TV shows like Sons of Anarchy and Private Practice. Her most recent collaboration was with Oscar-winning director Bill Condon in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Pt. 2.
Beyond her acting career, Marisa has explored her artistic talents in music, photography, and production, leading to opportunities in the United States, Mexico, and Europe. She has performed as a professional vocalist and been commissioned as a photographer in various locations.
Marisa's passion for creating opportunities for artistic expression in Film, Television, and New Media inspired her to establish Monarch Media Productions, an organization dedicated to generating innovative content that challenges stereotypes and promotes diversity. Monarch Media Productions' inaugural project, Sweet Mary & Jane, allowed Marisa to co-produce, co-create, and co-star in this edgy, female-led comedic film, showcasing her versatility and creative vision.
