Mark Edward Edens, a native of Tennessee, harbored a lifelong ambition to become a novelist, but an unexpected turn of events led him to pursue a career in writing for TV animation. As his body of work grew, he lost count of the numerous episodes he had scripted or outlined for over 100 shows, including some notable hits such as The X-Men and The Real Ghostbusters, as well as lesser-known series like Exosquad, The Spiral Zone, and Little Shop.
In addition to his work in animation, Edens has also penned scripts for several live-action television series, including Young Hercules, and has contributed to TV movies for CBS and the Disney Channel. His literary endeavors culminated in the publication of his debut novel, Death Be Not Pwned, in 2016.
Furthermore, Edens has made appearances on the popular podcast, The 42cast, sharing his insights and expertise with listeners. In 2017, he participated in an interview, and in 2020, he joined a panel discussion exploring the importance of incorporating real science and history into fictional storytelling.
