Mark Ellis is a prolific writer and showrunner with an impressive portfolio of over 100 hours of produced television to his name. His impressive resume includes the creation and executive production of Flashpoint, a highly acclaimed television series co-produced with his partner Stephanie Morgenstern for CBS and CTV.

As a writer, Mark Ellis has made significant contributions to Flashpoint, co-writing twenty of its 75 episodes. His work has been recognized with numerous award nominations and wins, including a Gemini nomination for Best Writing in a TV Drama for the episode "Haunting The Barn", a Writers' Guild nomination for "One Wrong Move", and winning both the Gemini and Writers' Guild Awards for "Jumping at Shadows".
In addition to their work on Flashpoint, Mark and Stephanie Morgenstern are also the co-creators, writers, Executive Producers, and showrunners of the WWII espionage drama X Company, which was produced for CBC and Sony Television.
