Mark McKinnon, a talented individual, has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry through his impressive body of work. He is perhaps best recognized for his roles as Donnell in the Paramount+ series Mayor of Kingstown, Davis in the Netflix show Survival of the Thickest, and Officer Miller in the CBS drama Blue Bloods.
In addition to these notable roles, Mark had the opportunity to play the leading man in the BET production The Waiting Room, directed by the esteemed Sheryl Lee Ralph. His other credits include appearances in the CBS series FBI, the FOX show Gotham, and the NBC drama The Blacklist. Furthermore, Mark has had the privilege of working alongside numerous A-list actors and actresses.
Mark's journey in the entertainment industry began when he was selected as an alumnus of the 2020 ABC Diversity Showcase in New York.
Born on a Marine Corps base in North Carolina, Mark was an energetic and active child who excelled in multiple sports, including football, basketball, and cross-country running. Despite his athletic pursuits, Mark still found time to nurture his passion for the arts. His experience playing the lead role in his high school play inspired him to turn down several football scholarships and attend Howard University in Washington, DC, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Acting.
After graduating, Mark continued his training in New York, working with esteemed acting coaches such as Rob McCaskill and Ted Sluberski.
