Noted American actor, Nelson, has had a distinguished career on the Broadway stage, appearing in a wide range of productions that showcase his impressive range and versatility as a performer.
Some of his notable credits include the 2018 production of Tony Kushner's acclaimed play, Angels in America, as well as the 2016 revival of John Kander and Fred Ebb's classic musical, Cabaret.
In addition to these high-profile productions, Nelson has also appeared in numerous other Broadway shows, including the plays After the Fall, The Invention of Love, Three Sisters, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, which earned him an Obie Award, A Few Good Men, Rumors, Broadway Bound, Biloxi Blues, Brighton Beach Memoirs, and Amadeus.
When he is not performing, Nelson is also a dedicated teacher, sharing his knowledge and expertise with the next generation of theater artists at Princeton University and HB Studio in New York, where he himself studied acting under the guidance of the renowned Uta Hagen.
