Mark Speno is a multifaceted individual, boasting a dual career as an American-born actor and adventurist, with a notable recent appearance as a recurring guest star on the Showtime series WACO, THE AFTERMATH, where he shared the screen with a talented ensemble cast including Giovanni Ribisi, Michael Shannon, Michael Luwoye, Kali Rocha, and John Hoogenakker.
Throughout his acting career, Mark has demonstrated his versatility by playing a wide range of characters, including military officers, judges, CEOs, psychopathic serial killers, politicians, high school principals, and more, with numerous stunt fighting credits to his name.
Mark's acting journey began with high school productions, where he honed his skills, and later became a member of the Barbary Coast Players at the Opry House in California, performing comedy vaudeville melodrama. He attended Washington State University, where he was a cheerleader and later took up flying trapeze under the direction of renowned circus pioneer Bob Christians, performing for audiences internationally.
Recognizing his exceptional performance and instruction skills, Mark was hired by the Canadian circus troupe Cirkids to prepare their trapeze team for international performances, including the World Expo in Japan.
Mark attributes his acting abilities to a lifetime of diverse experiences, including exhibition skydiving, scuba diving, and martial arts competitions. In 1989, he joined the US Navy, receiving his officer's commission and entering the SEAL training program in Coronado, CA. Although injuries sustained in training ended his military career, his love of adventure remained unwavering.
As of 2023, Mark has entered into a contract with Google, Inc as a Lead Fitness Trainer to 33 million Fitbit Premium subscribers, further solidifying his multifaceted career.
