He has recently appeared in a range of projects, including the Netflix thriller The Gray Man, where he played a Czech police officer opposite Ryan Gosling; The Staircase, a biographical crime series opposite Colin Firth; Better Call Saul, where he portrayed a German bartender in the final season; and Stranger Things, where he is a fellow prisoner of David Harbour's character in a Soviet gulag.

Before taking the leap into acting, Martin developed a passion for film history after discovering a DVD set of the twenty-five best movies of all time. This, combined with his love for James Bond movies and the cinema of Robert De Niro, led him to become an actor in Hollywood.
Martin studied intensely at the Stella Adler Theater and the Beverly Hills Playhouse, eventually landing larger roles in major television and film productions. His notable roles include Lt. Nikolai Zybulski in TNT's The Last Ship, a Croatian agent in the feature film The Hunt, and a prison tower sharpshooter in Red Notice.
Outside of his acting career, Martin is an avid rock music fan and has even headlined a heavy metal band called Army of Darkness in his native Poland. He also does significant voice work for computer and video games, including the beloved character "Krueger" in Call of Duty.
