Mary's career in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of three, when she made her stage debut as a dancer. Since then, she has worked extensively in various fields, including television, film, commercials, and print media, in addition to behind-the-scenes roles as a writer, producer, and director.
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Mary is of Hungarian and Irish descent. She is a former professional dancer and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre, cum laude with honors, from The Ohio State University. Mary furthered her education at The Australian School of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, where she honed her skills at the renowned Playhouse West and Upright Citizens' Brigade.
Mary's notable roles include appearances in the romantic comedy Time Freak, alongside Sophie Turner, Asa Butterfield, and Skyler Gisondo, as well as the dark drama Juveniles, featuring Stephen Moyer, Kathleen Rose Perkins, and Beau Knapp.
In 2013, Mary wrote, produced, and starred in her own short film, Getting Lemons, which premiered at five film festivals, including the prestigious Hollyshorts Fest, and earned several award nominations. She took home the Best Actress award at the Action on Film International Festival and was selected to screen for the 2013 Academy Awards Short Film Competition.
As a producer, Mary's film BnB was accepted into both the Cleveland and Newport Beach International Film Festivals. In 2018, she is developing an hour-long television pilot and directing the documentary BEing KINDred, which aims to highlight the positive stories of families supporting their transgender members.
