Matthias Freihof is a multifaceted actor and singer who has made a significant impact on the Berlin Art Scene. With a diverse repertoire that includes American musical songs, French "chansons", Greek and Lebanese love songs, as well as new and old German songs, he has attracted a large and diverse following of fans across various age groups.
His dynamic stage presence and exceptional, flexible voice have consistently garnered positive reviews in the press. However, his most notable achievement was his starring role in the former GDR film "Coming Out" in 1989, which earned him numerous awards, including "The Silver Bear" at the Berlin Film Festival in 1990.
This success catapulted him to immense popularity among the East-German population and garnered significant attention throughout Germany.
