McNally Sagal, the middle child of a family of ten, grew up outside of Chicago, Illinois. She is widely recognized for her significant role as Margaret Murphy on the highly acclaimed television series Sons of Anarchy, which she portrayed for five consecutive seasons.
In addition to her notable appearances on Sons of Anarchy, Sagal has made numerous recurring roles on other popular television shows, including Secrets and Lies, The Jersey, Murder One, The X-Files, Chicago Hope, The Practice, and many other notable guest-star roles.
Prior to her successful television career, Sagal began her professional journey in the Broadway production of Amadeus, where she honed her craft alongside other talented artists. She then went on to work extensively in regional theater across the country, before eventually relocating to Los Angeles.
