As a youthful individual with a profound passion for creativity, self-expression, and artistic innovation, Alig would go on to play a pivotal and instrumental role in the genesis and development of the notorious and iconic Club Kids, a collective of like-minded and free-spirited individuals who were united under the visionary leadership of Alig and his close and trusted friend, James St. James, during the latter half of the 1980s and the early 1990s.
