Michael, a renowned producer and editor, has dedicated his career to restoring lost footage and sound to numerous classic films and television programs. His impressive portfolio includes iconic titles such as "East of Eden", "Rebel Without a Cause", "Strangers On A Train", "The Wild Bunch", "Planet of the Apes", "The Exorcist", and "The French Connection".
In addition to his restoration work, Michael has also produced acclaimed "Director's Cut" versions of "Blade Runner" and "A Streetcar Named Desire", as well as notable restorations of "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?", "The Way We Were", and "Yentl", among many other titles.
One of Michael's most notable projects is the reconstruction of Bob Fosse's "Liza With a Z", which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in October 2005 and aired on Showtime in 2006. He also restored "My Name is Barbra" and "Color Me Barbra", which premiered on PBS' Great Performances in 2005 and 2006, respectively.
Michael has produced and directed numerous DVD, Blu-ray, CD, and Dual Disc releases, as well as music video packages for Barbra Streisand's "Stranger in a Strange Land", "Hideaway", "Above the Law", and "Letting Go".
Recent projects have included producing and directing video segments for Barbra Streisand's 2016-17 Concert Tour, as well as the 2017 Netflix Special "Barbra: The Music, The Mem'ries, The Magic".
