Born and raised in the heart of Omaha, Nebraska, Michael's journey into the world of acting began several years ago, when his father, John Beasley, brought his production of "Jitney", directed by Kenny Leon, to Atlanta's esteemed Alliance Theater. This pivotal moment sparked Michael's interest in the craft, and he began to pursue his passion for acting. Prior to his acting career, Michael had a successful stint as a professional basketball player, with extensive experience playing overseas in various countries, including Puerto Rico, Argentina, the Dominican Republic, Chile, and Mexico. As he grew older, Michael realized that his basketball career was limited in duration and decided to reinvent himself as an actor. With unwavering dedication, Michael made the bold decision to pursue his acting career full-time in 2005.
