Michael's journey in independent film production spanned numerous years,
during which he held the esteemed position of Director of Production at
Cineville, Inc, a renowned production company responsible for
producing several Sundance Award-winning films, including the
critically acclaimed "Gas Food Lodging" and "Mi Vida Loca" by
the accomplished filmmaker Allison Anders.
As a testament to his skills and creativity, Michael decided to
venture out on his own and develop a project of his own making.
In 1994, he wrote, produced, and directed the 35mm festival short
film "Cabin Steps," starring the talented author and actor Malachy
McCourt.
Following the success of "Cabin Steps," Michael took on the role of
Producer of Special Editions for Pioneer Entertainment. However,
with the advent of DVD technology, he once again struck out on his
own and founded MogoMedia.
As the creative force behind MogoMedia, Michael is responsible for
producing a diverse range of projects, including documentaries,
audio commentaries, added value interactive features, festival short
films, corporate industrial films, and narrative feature film screenplays.
