Michael Hearn's acting career began at the tender age of eight, when he landed a series regular role on the CTV children's show "Let's Go!" in 1979, earning a nomination for Best Children's Show from ACTRA.
He went on to star in the CBC television series "Brown Paper Bag" and performed in various musical productions on the Rainbow Stage, including "Oliver", "Fiddler On The Roof", "Student Prince", and "The King and I", where he played the role of Louis Leonowens.
In 1985, Michael relocated to Toronto, where he appeared in several national commercials before making the move to Los Angeles, California. He studied at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts and earned the esteemed Hume Cronyn Scholarship.
During his time in Los Angeles, Michael had the opportunity to work alongside notable actors such as Paul Rudd and Lex Medlin in the West Coast Premiere of "Road". He also appeared alongside Scott Michael Campbell in "Chekov In Yalta" and in the Tiffany Theater's highly acclaimed production of "Dracula Tyrannus", directed by Jules Aaron and starring Al Sapienza and Robert Miano.
Michael continued his studies with the late Shelley Winters and went on to work in commercials and short films, including "Touched By A Burger" by Venezuelan director Henry Rivero, which received critical acclaim at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival.
He also had recurring roles in popular television shows such as NBC's "Will and Grace" and the hit CBS show "Judging Amy". As an accomplished singer/songwriter, Michael performed regularly around Los Angeles and Hollywood for over a decade.
After returning to Canada in 2011, Michael continued to work in film and television, appearing in notable projects such as "Red 2" starring Bruce Willis and Anthony Hopkins, "The Art of More" with Kate Bosworth, ABC's "Quantico", and Montreal's hit drama "19-2".
Upcoming, Michael can be seen in Roland Emmerich's "Moonfall", "Three Pines" on Amazon Prime, and Ari Aster's new film "Disappointment Blvd".
