Michael is a multi-talented individual with an impressive array of skills, including acting, writing, directing, voice-over acting, and coaching. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the prestigious Yale School of Drama.
As an actor, Michael has had the opportunity to work at numerous theatres in Los Angeles, including the Pasadena Playhouse, A Noise Within, and the Mark Taper Forum, among others. His performances have garnered critical acclaim, with notable mentions including the LA Drama Critics Award for Best Ensemble and an Ovation Award nomination for Best Lead Actor.
In addition to his work on stage, Michael has also appeared in numerous films and television shows, including National Treasure, Volcano, Dragonfly, and NCIS: Los Angeles. He has also narrated several documentaries for PBS, including Ruben Salazar: Man in the Middle and The Lafayette Escadrille.
As a voice-over actor, Michael has dubbed over 30 TV series and feature films, including Argentina 1985, which was nominated for an Academy Award for International Feature Film. He has also voiced characters in video games, such as Aldova Cardova in Dishonored: Death of the Outsider.
Michael has also had a successful career as a director and coach, serving as Creative Consultant to John Legend for his show An Evening of Songs and Stories. He has also worked as an on-set coach for Chris Bauer in the feature film Doug Out.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Michael has also been involved in various educational initiatives, including teaching seminars in Commedia and Shakespeare at several schools in the Los Angeles area. He has also worked with at-risk students through programs such as the A.S.K Playwrights in the Schools program and About Theatre's Young Theatreworks program.
