Michael is a highly accomplished individual with a strong background in the entertainment industry. He graduated from the prestigious USC School of Theater and School of Cinematic Arts, and further honed his skills through the professional training track at the Groundlings School of Improv and Sketch Comedy in Los Angeles.
Michael made his professional acting debut in the independent film The Derby Stallion, opposite Zac Efron, and has since appeared in a wide range of projects. He acted opposite Ezra Miller, Kate Bosworth, Thomas Haden Church, and Demi Moore in the critically acclaimed film Another Happy Day, which was directed by Sam Levinson and competed in the Dramatic Competition category at the Sundance Film Festival, where it won the coveted Waldo Salt Award.
Michael has also starred in the film Cassidy Way alongside Sydney Sweeney, and has recurred on various television shows including My Name is Earl, CSI: New York, The Client List, The Mob Doctor, Revenge, Nashville, Hart of Dixie, and American Crime Story: The People VS OJ Simpson.
In addition to his work in front of the camera, Michael has also ventured into production, producing and starring in the hit Netflix film Circle, which has gone on to develop a cult following. He was nominated for three Emmys in 2020 for his work on the Amazon series Dark/Web, including Best Director.
When he's not working, Michael is an avid fitness enthusiast and adrenaline junkie. He has skydived, bungee jumped, climbed a glacier in Patagonia, competed in Spartan and Tough Mudder races, and gone spelunking through caves hundreds of feet underneath New Zealand. He is also an avid surfer, practices Muay Thai and kickboxing, is trained in firearms and firearm safety, and recently obtained his motorcycle license.
In his free time, Michael is an avid gamer, film buff, and dog lover. He is committed to giving back to his community and donates his time to Path: People Assisting the Homeless, and Create Now, which helps curate art programs for LA's runaways and underprivileged youth.
