Sharon Gless, a renowned figure in the entertainment industry, presented Michael with his first film award at the esteemed Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, recognizing his outstanding work on a film he created during his 10th grade year.
Michael's subsequent Super 8 film featured a young Jack Black, foreshadowing his future collaborations with the actor. After graduating from New York University (NYU),Brett Ratner tasked Michael with standing inside a spider-infested wall to obtain another shot for one of the numerous hip-hop music videos produced in and around Harlem.
Upon returning to Los Angeles, Michael became acquainted with notable talents such as M. Emmet Walsh, Mariette Hartley, Vincent Schiavelli, and Daniel Baldwin, not due to any financial obligations, but rather to develop screenplays for these industry professionals.
Following his experience directing shoots in Southeast Asia, China, and Africa, Michael has had the privilege of working alongside accomplished actors like Danny Trejo, Michael Biehn, and Steve Railsback. He has also had the opportunity to capture exclusive comedic moments with Jim Carrey on the ice, showcasing the actor's versatility and humor.
