Michael Reventar, an actor from Toronto, Canada, has had a remarkable journey. With a troubled youth behind him, he spent 10 years working with charitable organizations in Toronto's inner cities, using his life story to help kids avoid the mistakes he made.
Michael's first public appearance was on the popular children's show Tiny Talent Time, where at the age of 5 he showcased his dance skills with a routine to Michael Jackson's iconic song "Billie Jean". In addition to dance, he honed his musical talents as a classically trained pianist, going on to win the prestigious Kiwanis Music Festival at the age of 12.
After the passing of his father-in-law from brain cancer, Michael made the bold decision to pursue his passion for acting. Under the guidance of renowned acting coach David Rotenberg, Michael developed a reputation as a major talent with an incredible work ethic.
One of his most notable performances was in the heart-wrenching independent feature KIDNAP CAPITAL, which earned him a Best Supporting Actor Nomination from the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television. He also wowed audiences with his explosive performance in the CW series THE FLASH, as well as appearances on Guillermo del Toro's hit FX series THE STRAIN.
Recent roles include Pierre Morel's highly anticipated action feature PEPPERMINT alongside Jennifer Garner, and AppleTV's epic original series SEE, starring alongside Jason Momoa. Most recently, he has delivered an arresting performance in Taylor Sheridan's MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN, alongside Jeremy Renner, via Paramount+.
Michael is also dedicated to giving back to his community, serving on the Board of Genesis Community of the Arts, which provides sustainable art programs for children in Honduras and Guatemala. He currently resides in Toronto with his wife and children.
