Michael Zaslow was born on November 1, 1942, in the city of Inglewood, located in the state of California, and went on to become a renowned actor and writer, particularly recognized for his significant contributions to the world of daytime dramas, also known as soap operas.
Throughout his life, Michael was married twice, first to Joanne Dorian, and later to Susan Hufford, with whom he had two beautiful daughters, Helena and Marika. Unfortunately, Michael's life was cut short on December 6, 1998, when he passed away in New York City due to complications from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS),also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
As an actor, Michael had an impressive array of credits to his name. On Broadway, he appeared in notable productions such as Fiddler on the Roof, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Boccaccio, and Onward Victoria. He was also awarded a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 1994 for his outstanding performance.
