Mickey Hardt's life began in Switzerland, where he was first introduced to the world. His Luxembourgish father, a professional soccer player, and his Austrian mother, a talented singer and theatre actor who later became a psychologist, played a significant role in shaping his early years.
At the tender age of eight, Mickey discovered his passion for martial arts, which would become a lifelong pursuit, rivalled only by his enthusiasm for playing the guitar and piano. As he grew older, he continued to nurture these interests while pursuing higher education at the university in Brussels.
During his studies, Mickey developed a part-time career as a model, which ultimately led to his discovery of a newfound passion for working in front of the camera. He enrolled in acting classes in Paris, further honing his craft before relocating to Berlin, where he was still an acting student when he was discovered by the renowned Donnie Yen to play the lead role in Europe's first martial arts action series.
Mickey's remarkable journey culminated in 2001 with the prestigious "Shooting Star" award at the Berlin International Film Festival, a testament to his dedication and talent in the world of acting.
