Mike was born to be an action man, joining HM Forces at the age of 16 to train as a combat frogman. He went on to specialize in smallarms, explosives, and bomb disposal, and became part of HM Elite Special Forces RN CD, seeing many theaters of operation worldwide.
After leaving the services, Mike became involved in the Offshore Oil Industry, moving rapidly from deep sea diver to sub-sea Operations Manager to Company Owner and Managing Director of one of the world's largest sub-sea consultancy.
He pursued his love of fitness, power sports, sailing, and horse riding, becoming highly experienced in these fields. Mike competed in various challenges, including Britain's Strongest Man, Horse Three-Day Eventing, show-jumping, and bodybuilding, achieving several titles and awards.
He was honored with the Grimek International Award for outstanding contribution to sport in 2005, and was later inducted into the Hall of Fame and awarded the "Living Legend Award" in 2010.
Mike is a qualified Yacht Skipper and regularly competes in International Regattas around the Mediterranean. He started his acting career in 1994 and has since appeared in several feature films, including Braveheart, Gladiator, and The Planet.
After a heart attack in 2006, Mike slowed down and focused on acting, working alongside several well-known actors and securing several major roles. He has recently filmed several projects, including Skyfall, Zombie Massacre, and Pearls of Africa.
Mike was awarded the Prestigious Order Of The Scottish Samurai "Great Shogun" for outstanding work in Charity in 2017 and has won several awards for his performances. He is currently in pre-production with several projects, including Blood Curse and The Tales of Ravna.
