Mike's Early Life and Inspiration
Mike grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, where his path was influenced by one of his childhood heroes, Jackie Chan. This inspiration was sparked while working as a stuntman in Hong Kong on the film "Robin-B-Hood", which ultimately led him to pursue a career in acting.
Pursuing His Passion
Mike relocated to Los Angeles, where he landed roles in numerous commercials, TV shows, and films, including "Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist", widely regarded as the best film adaptation of a video game.
Balancing Career and Family
After nearly a decade in Los Angeles, Mike relocated his family back to the Midwest in 2013 to open Moh's Martial Arts (LVLUP Martial Arts) in Waunakee, WI. During this time, he juggled a growing family with the demands of running one of the most successful martial arts schools in the Midwest.
Continuing to Thrive
Despite his busy schedule, Mike has managed to book roles on prime-time shows like FOX's "Empire" and ABC's "Marvel's Inhumans".
Martial Arts Training and Achievements
Mike continues his daily martial arts training and holds the esteemed rank of 6th degree black belt in Songahm Taekwondo. In November 2022, he was honored with the title of Master Instructor.
