At the tender age of 21, Milorad Mandic embarked on a journey of self-discovery, joining the esteemed amateur Drama Experimental Studio in Belgrade. This marked the beginning of a lifelong passion for the performing arts, which would eventually lead him to the prestigious Belgrade Academy of Film and Theater. Under the guidance of the illustrious Professor Vladimir Jevtovic, Mandic honed his craft, graduating six years later with a solid foundation in his chosen field.
Following his graduation, Mandic became a member of the renowned Belgrade Children's Theater "Bosko Buha", where he occasionally appeared in various productions. His big break came in 1989, when he created over 260 episodes of the popular fairy tale series "Bajka za laku noc" for national television. This incredible feat catapulted him to stardom, and he soon found himself hosting his own children's show, "S' onestrane duge" (Over the Rainbow),on national television.
For the next six years, Mandic delighted audiences with his charismatic presence and impeccable comedic timing, solidifying his status as one of the most beloved children's entertainers in the country. In 1995, he transitioned to the popular Serbian and Montenegrin television network "Pink", where he hosted his own show, "Vise od igre" (More Than a Game).
Throughout his illustrious career, Mandic has left an indelible mark on the world of film and television, with numerous standout roles in former Yugoslav movies. One of his most iconic performances was in the critically acclaimed film "Lepa sela lepo gore" (Pretty Village, Pretty Flame),directed by Srdjan Dragojevic. This masterpiece was hailed as one of the top five Yugoslav films of all time, cementing Mandic's status as a master of his craft.
Mandic's impressive repertoire of roles has earned him widespread recognition as one of the most talented and renowned actors of modern Serbian comedy and drama. His dedication to his craft, combined with his infectious enthusiasm and warm on-screen presence, have made him a beloved figure in the entertainment industry, cherished by audiences of all ages.
