Mitch Eakins was born and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina, where he would later go on to study acting with the renowned Lucile McIntyre, who instilled in him a profound passion for the performing arts. Eakins' academic pursuits took him to the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he graduated at the very top of his class with a degree in Film Studies. His thirst for knowledge and expertise led him to further his education at Stella Adler in Manhattan, and in 2017, he became a member of the esteemed BGB studio in Los Angeles, California.
As an accomplished actor, Mitch Eakins is an original cast member in Los Angeles' longest-running play, Point Break Live, and has also had the privilege of playing the role of Goose in the Top Gun Parody, Tom Gun Live. He has also made notable appearances on television, recuring for two seasons on the AMC series Turn: Washington's Spies as the charismatic and cunning Major William Bradford, and for ten episodes as Detective Tommy Roberts in Antonie Fuqua's gripping thriller, #freerayshawn.
Outside of his acting career, Mitch Eakins is a devoted father, husband, and advocate for ocean conservation. He is an avid surfer, and his love for the ocean extends beyond his recreational activities to his passion for protecting its well-being.
