This impressive foundation laid the groundwork for his transition into feature filmmaking, with his debut, the gripping post-apocalyptic action-thriller "Shank", receiving a theatrical release in 2010 and subsequently entering the UK Charts at number four. Since then, "Shank" has been released in over 15 territories worldwide, cementing Mo's status as a talented and innovative filmmaker.
Mo's second feature, the critically acclaimed "Montana", was a powerful exploration of life in the gritty underbelly of London. The film's impressive run continued with its appearance at the prestigious Sitges Film Festival, widely regarded as the most prominent genre festival globally. "Montana" went on to sell to 30 territories, garnering a nomination for Best Independent Feature at the National Film Awards and nods for both Best Picture and Best Director at the Screen National Awards.
In addition to his filmmaking endeavors, Mo is also an influential figure in the industry, serving as a board member of the British Urban Film Festival and patron of the East Side Educational Trust.
