Molly was born and raised in Pennsylvania, where she began her professional career at the tender age of thirteen. Her first notable role was in the production of "The Snow Queen" at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater, which marked the beginning of her journey in the world of theater.
As she continued to hone her craft, Molly landed the role of Little Red Ridinghood in the Arden Theater's production of "Into the Woods," earning her a nomination for a prestigious Barrymore Award. This performance was so impressive that she was later invited to reprise her role on Broadway, making her debut at just fifteen years old. Her Broadway debut in "Into the Woods" in 2002 earned her a nomination for a Drama League Award, solidifying her position as a talented young actress.
Molly's impressive resume continued to grow as she took on the role of Little Red Ridinghood once again in the Broadway revival of "Fiddler on the Roof" in 2004. Following her time on Broadway, Molly attended Princeton University, where she was an active member of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion.
During her time at Princeton, Molly made her film debut in Disney's "College Road Trip" as Wendy Greenhut, a role that showcased her versatility as an actress. After graduating from college, Molly continued to perform in various Off-Broadway productions, including "End Days" at Ensemble Studio Theater, as well as television shows such as "Royal Pains" and an HBO Pilot, "The Wonderful Maladys."
Molly has also had the opportunity to star in several regional productions, including the "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" at Barrington Stage Company and North Shore Music Theatre in 2008, and Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 production of "The Diary of Anne Frank," in which she portrayed the iconic role of Anne.
Molly's most notable role to date is likely her portrayal of teenage daughter Ali in the 2010 horror film "Paranormal Activity 2." She has also starred in the ABC comedy "Last Man Standing," written by Jack Burditt and starring Tim Allen, further solidifying her position as a talented and versatile actress.
