Since her short film, Night Deposit, won the prestigious "Anarchy" Audience Award at Slamdance in January 2000, she has become a distinguished alumni of over 90 international film festivals, with her four independent films garnering an impressive 20 "Best Picture" or "Audience" awards throughout the years.
Mitchell's television career is equally diverse, spanning over a decade, starting with her work on Robson Arms in 2005.
