Muhsin Parari embarked on his cinematic journey by helming the music album "Native Bapa" in 2012, a project that showcased the talents of the renowned Mamukkoya in the leading role. Subsequently, he honed his skills by serving as an assistant director on the feature films "5 Sundarikal" in 2013 and "Last Supper" in 2014.
The illustrious career of a renowned filmmaker commenced with the release of KL 10 Patthu in the year 2015, marking a significant milestone in his directorial endeavors.
Two years subsequently, he returned to the cinematic forefront with the release of Funeral of a Native Son, a sequel to the critically acclaimed Native Bappa, further solidifying his reputation as a master storyteller.
Muhsin's creative endeavors began to flourish in 2018, as he co-authored the film Sudani from Nigeria alongside Zakariya Mohammed, the visionary director behind the project. This cinematic masterpiece received widespread acclaim, garnering an impressive five Kerala State Film Awards, including the prestigious Best Screenplay award.
Undeterred by his success, Muhsin continued to push the boundaries of his craft, teaming up with the acclaimed director Aashiq Abu to bring the gripping story of Virus to life. Set against the ominous backdrop of the 2018 Nipah virus outbreak in Kerala, this film showcased Muhsin's versatility as a screenwriter and his ability to craft compelling narratives that captivate audiences.
As Muhsin's career continued to soar, he demonstrated his impressive range as a writer, effortlessly transitioning between genres and themes while maintaining his signature attention to detail and dedication to his craft.
Muhsin's creative endeavors continued to flourish as he collaborated with Suhas and Sharafu to co-write the screenplay for the thought-provoking film Virus. Following this successful project, Muhsin embarked on a new creative journey by co-writing the screenplay for Halal Love Story with Zakariya Mohammed, the talented director of Sudani from Nigeria.
Muhsin is diligently engaged in the creative process of crafting the screenplay for the highly anticipated film, Thallumaala, for which he is proudly taking on the role of writer. Furthermore, he is set to assume the dual responsibilities of co-director for the forthcoming period drama, Vaariyamkunnan, which boasts the talented Prithviraj Sukumaran in its starring cast.
