Nancy Nave, a talented individual, was born in El Paso, Texas, as the youngest of three children to a Mexican-American mother and a father from Canton, China. She received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso, where she was awarded a volleyball scholarship.
After graduating, Nancy pursued a career in engineering and project management, working for prominent companies such as Procter & Gamble and AT&T. Her professional journey was marked by success, but it was her foray into the entertainment industry that brought her widespread recognition.
Nancy made her big-screen debut in the feature film Hours (2013),which premiered at the SXSW Film Festival. She went on to appear in The Hollars (2016) and Bayou Caviar (2018),both of which garnered critical acclaim. Her television credits include Grey's Anatomy, Lethal Weapon, and Life in Pieces, among others.
In addition to her acting career, Nancy has made a significant impact in the commercial world, appearing in over 100 national commercials for brands such as Walgreens, Jimmy Dean, and Honda. Her versatility as an actress has earned her a reputation as a talented and dedicated performer.
Nancy's entrepreneurial spirit led her to co-found Chew Angry Productions with her husband, Jason. Together, they write, direct, produce, and cast projects, providing opportunities for actors to contribute their talents to independent films.
Nancy's journey into the entertainment industry began unexpectedly, as she transitioned from a corporate career to at-home entrepreneurship to care for her three young sons. Her husband encouraged her to pursue modeling, which eventually led to her being selected as a finalist for Season 2 of the modeling reality show She's Got the Look in 2007.
Through her experiences, Nancy became an advocate for actors in the film and television industry and eventually became a professional Career Coach for Actors. She is the owner and founder of The Crafty Actor, which provides guidance and support to actors navigating their careers.
