Natalija Nogulich is a talented actress, director, and writer with a diverse range of credits in film, television, and theater. Born in Chicago, she began her theatrical career in her hometown, working with the St. Nicholas Theatre Company founded by W.H. Macy, David Mamet, and Steven Schachter.
Nogulich has appeared in numerous television shows, including CHICAGO MED, SHAMELESS, PRESUMED INNOCENT, and FULLER HOUSE, as well as the ABC series RED WIDOW, where she played the role of Russian mob wife Elena Petrova. She has also guest-starred on NCIS, CRIMINAL MINDS, KC UNDERCOVER, GLEE, 2 BROKE GIRLS, and WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE REUNION with Selena Gomez.
On the big screen, Nogulich has appeared in films such as THE SPRINGFIELD THREE, UNTHINKABLE, THE LAST WORD, DANGEROUS GAMES, and INCARNATE. She has also been featured in a number of independent films and shorts, including those that have premiered at the Cannes International Film Festival.
In addition to her acting work, Nogulich is a skilled director and writer. She has directed numerous productions, including the West Coast Premiere of David Mamet's adaptation of Chekhov's THREE THE SISTERS, which won four DRAMA-LOGUE AWARDS, including Best Direction. She has also written and directed a documentary short called CORPORAL JAKE, about World War I Medal of Honor Recipient Jake Allex.
Nogulich is a graduate of Lake Forest College in Illinois, where she earned a BA (Phi Beta Kappa). She later attended the Stella Adler Conservatory in New York City and has studied in Spain and Italy, gaining command of five languages. She has been Adjunct Professor to Graduate and Undergraduate film and theatre students at ArtCenter College of Design, American Film Institute, Principia College, Notre Dame University, and Cal Poly Tech.
Throughout her career, Nogulich has received numerous awards and accolades, including the Pinnacle International Best Actress Award for her lead role in UNTHINKABLE and the DRAMA-LOGUE CRITICS AWARD for Outstanding Performance for her work in HEDDA GABLER and THE WHITE ROSE. She has also been recognized for her work as a director, including a nomination for Best Direction for her production of THE THREE SISTERS.
Nogulich is currently based in her native Chicago, where she continues to act, write, and teach. She has also authored a historical novel, ONE WOMAN'S WAR, which is now being developed into a screenplay.
