Nathan Clarkson is an American actor of British descent, born outside of Los Angeles, California, to a family of renowned authors. His entry into the acting world began in 2009, after studying at The New York Film Academy.
Prior to landing more substantial roles, Nathan worked as a background actor for several years, gaining valuable experience and eventually landing featured roles on popular television shows such as NBC's Community, TNT's Perception, NBC's Brooklyn 99, FX's Mr. Robot, CBS's FBI: Most Wanted, CBS's The Equalizer, and studio and independent films like The Purge, Heavens Vail, and Thy Neighbor. Throughout his career, Nathan has had the opportunity to act alongside multiple Oscar-nominated actors and Hollywood stars.
In 2015, Nathan founded his own independent film company, Clarkson Creations, which has since produced a range of feature films, including The Parables Trilogy (2015-2020),Don't Know Jack (2022),and Bright Sky (2025). These films have garnered significant attention, trending on platforms such as Netflix, Peacock, TUBI, and more.
In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Nathan is also a bestselling author, with his books including the theological memoir, Finding God in Hollywood (2023),and a podcast philosopher on the multi-award-winning podcast The Overthinkers.
Drawing from his experience as an actor, Nathan developed his own acting method, which he outlines in his book, Acting From the Intellect (2024). He has used this method as an acting coach to help numerous actors, sharing his expertise and insights.
Nathan is married to actress and author Keelia Clarkson, with whom he has appeared in multiple movies.
