Nicholas Gledhill has spent over a quarter of a century honing his craft in the Australian and UK entertainment industries. His remarkable journey began at the tender age of six when he landed the central role of PS in the 1983 film "Careful, He Might Hear You", earning him a nomination for Best Actor from the Australian Film Institute in 1984.
Gledhill's early television appearances included a stint as the English captain, Douglas Jardine, in the 1984 series "Bodyline". Since then, his impressive resume boasts a wide range of television and film roles, such as appearances in "A Country Practice", "GP", "Dirtwater Dynasty", and many more.
Prior to his extensive work in the entertainment industry, Gledhill pursued a three-year course at the prestigious Birmingham School of Speech and Drama. After working in the UK for a period, he returned to his native Australia to take on the role of John Darling in the Jim Henson's Creature Shop production of "PAN".
In recent years, Gledhill has showcased his versatility by playing Edgar and Sebastian in the Shakespeare Globe Centre Australia's productions of "King Lear" and "The Tempest", as well as Rosencrantz in "Hamlet". Notably, he has also worked as a Stage Combat Master and Choreographer, an acting teacher, and has even proven himself to be a prize-winning writer, having won the ICI/STC Young Writers Competition.
