Nicholas X. Parsons, a talented individual, embarked on his artistic journey in Chesapeake, Virginia, where he honed his skills as an actor at The Governor's School for the Arts. He furthered his education by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in acting from George Mason University. After completing his formal education, Parsons continued to refine his craft by studying with Yuri Kordonsky and Keith Flippen at 'The Actor's Place'.
As his career progressed, Parsons began to make a name for himself in the television and film industry, particularly in the South-East market. His big break came when he was cast in the popular television series Burn Notice in 2007. He went on to secure roles in other notable shows, including MacGyver, Preacher, and NCIS: New Orleans. Additionally, Parsons had a recurring role as Stanzi Palmer, the hacker sidekick, in the third season of Necessary Roughness.
In film, Parsons has demonstrated his versatility by taking on a wide range of characters in various genres. He has appeared in dramatic leads, such as Power of the Air, opposite the legendary Patty Duke, as well as comedic roles, like 'Bicycle' in The Lovebirds, a Netflix original. His standout performance came when he played the role of 'Motel Clerk' in Pain & Gain, a dark comedy directed by Michael Bay and starring Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg.
Parsons has also appeared in other notable films, including The Domestics, where he played the best friend of Tyler Hoechlin, and Palmer, a family drama starring Justin Timberlake, in which he played the endearing buddy 'Ned'. His recent credits include Fake Jesus in We Have a Ghost and Isaac in Unseen.
Beyond his acting career, Parsons is also a multi-talented individual who is producing, writing, directing, and editing his first documentary feature, A Horse of a Different Color.
