Nick Brimble, one of three brothers who all share a passion for acting, is a talented individual with a rich family history. His father, Roy Brimble, was a school teacher who would often take his sons on the road, managing and performing with various groups of performers. This unique upbringing allowed Nick and his brothers, Ian and Vincent, to grow up surrounded by the world of theatre, with their father's performances serving as a catalyst for their own interest in acting.
As a child, Nick would often accompany his father to rehearsals, watching him work through his lines and attending his performances. This exposure had a profound impact on Nick, and he would later apply to the Italia Conti stage school when he was just ten years old. Although he didn't get accepted, he was instead awarded a scholarship to Bristol Grammar school, which came with a season ticket to the Bristol Old Vic Theatre. This provided Nick with a unique opportunity to see every show at the theatre until he went to university in 1962.
After graduating with a 2.1 degree from university, Nick began his teaching career, but it wasn't long before he turned his attention to acting. He started out with a group of young actors who would learn from and evaluate each other's performances, allowing him to hone his craft and develop his unique style.
Nick's striking features have served him well in his acting career, enabling him to adopt a tough-guy persona in many of his roles. However, beneath his rugged exterior lies a charming and reserved individual with a disarming smile and piercing blue eyes.
