Nick Di Paolo was born in Danvers, Massachusetts, where he attended Danvers High School. He later pursued a marketing major at the University of Maine.
In a world where comedy has become increasingly watered down by PC sensibilities, Nick Di Paolo's unapologetically honest performances stand out as a refreshing reminder of what great stand-up comedy should be: funny, socially relevant, and a little bit reckless.
As one of the stars of "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn", Di Paolo also co-hosted the animated series "Shorties Watchin' Shorties" and made a name for himself as a standout performer on numerous Comedy Central Roasts.
Throughout his career, Di Paolo has appeared on a wide range of TV shows and films, including FX's "Louie", "Inside Amy Schumer", "The Sopranos", "Cop Show", and the critically acclaimed "Horace and Pete", as well as many other sitcoms and films. He has also made appearances on late-night talk shows such as The Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Conan O'Brien.
Di Paolo's strong political opinions and razor-sharp wit have made him a natural fit for talk radio and podcasting. He was the host of "The Nick Di Paolo Show" on New York's 92.3 Free FM and on SiriusXM, as well as "The Nick & Artie Show" on DirecTV with SiriusXM Simulcast. He currently hosts "The Nick Di Paolo Show" podcast.
As a comedy writer, Di Paolo was twice nominated for an Emmy for HBO's "The Chris Rock Show" and has written for The Academy Awards, MTV Music Awards, and was a contributing writer on "Gutfeld!".
Di Paolo has released several comedy specials, including those on Comedy Central, as well as "Nick Di Paolo: Raw Nerve" on Showtime, "Another Senseless Killing", "Inflammatory", and "A Breath of Fresh Air".
His comedy albums include "Born This Way", "Road Rage", "Funny How?", "Raw Nerve", "Another Senseless Killing", "Inflammatory", and "A Breath of Fresh Air".
