Nils Hognestad's life story begins on July 16, 1984, in Bergen, Norway, where he was born to parents who would later relocate their family to London, England and subsequently to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. His early years were marked by a strong familial influence, as he was named after his maternal grandfather. This childhood marked the beginning of his journey towards the world of acting, as he started taking acting classes at a tender age and secured his first agent at the remarkable age of 10.
Fast-forward to 2006, Nils completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Performance from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. This academic achievement was followed by his pursuit of a Classical Acting Diploma from the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in the United Kingdom.
Nils Hognestad made his television debut in the made-for-TV movie Blood in the Water, playing the role of Charles Bruder, in the year 2009. Apart from his acting endeavors, Nils dedicates his time to sharing his knowledge and skills with aspiring actors as an instructor at the Vancouver Acting school in Canada.
