Nishanthi Evani's innate affinity for the art of filmmaking was evident from the onset of her career, as she embarked on a journey that would take her to the forefront of the industry. Following her graduation from film school, she honed her skills by working as an assistant director on numerous films, gradually building a strong foundation in the craft.
Subsequently, her talents were sought after by an Ad film production company, where she served as a creative director. During her tenure, she had the opportunity to produce and direct a plethora of TV commercials and documentaries, further solidifying her reputation as a versatile and accomplished filmmaker.
Nishanthi's journey, however, was not limited to behind-the-scenes work. She also had the chance to tread the boards, acting in a few films, before making her debut as a main lead in the critically acclaimed movie, Life Before Wedding. This milestone marked a significant turning point in her career, as she began to shift her focus towards direction, pursuing her true passion.
Undeterred by the challenges that lay ahead, Nishanthi continued to push the boundaries of her creativity, directing several independent short films that have since been showcased on prominent OTT platforms, including Large Short Films. Through her work, she has established herself as a talented and innovative filmmaker, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.
