Nithya Menen, a talented pan-India film actor, was born on April 8th, 1988, in Bengaluru, Karnataka. She is a native of the city, where she still resides with her parents, both government employees, who were also born and raised in Bengaluru. Nithya is a polyglot, fluent in six languages, and her first film was offered to her at the tender age of eight. The English movie, 'Hanuman', directed by French filmmaker Frédéric Fougea, marked her debut in the film industry.
Nithya's educational background includes her schooling at Mount Caramel College, Bengaluru, and junior college at Manipal University, where she pursued Journalism and Communication studies. During her studies, she realized her inclination towards being a journalist was waning, and she almost applied to study cinematography further.
