Paola Andino is a multifaceted international actress who has demonstrated her versatility in both television and film. A true crossover star, Paola is fluent in both Spanish and English, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of audiences. Born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, she relocated to Dallas, Texas at a young age, and it was during her elementary school years that she discovered her passion for performing through dance.
Recommended by a teacher to pursue acting, Paola began taking classes at the age of 10, and it was then that she fell in love with the craft of film acting. Her desire to become a professional actor grew, and she started making frequent trips to Los Angeles to hone her skills. In 2010, she landed her first role, the lead in Hallmark Hall of Fame's TV movie Beyond the Blackboard, opposite Emily Van Camp. Her heartwarming performance as Maria, a young homeless girl, garnered attention from the industry, and soon after, she booked a guest star role on Grey's Anatomy, playing Lily, a young girl suffering from a rare trachea disorder.
Paola's breakout role came at the age of 14 when she beat out thousands of young actresses to secure the series lead role on Nickelodeon's KCA-nominated Every Witch Way, which enjoyed a successful four-season run. She portrayed Emma Alonso, a good witch navigating high school and her newfound powers. The show was based on the popular Latin American series Grachi.
Paola has successfully transitioned from childhood to adulthood, taking on versatile characters and delving deeper into each role. Her additional credits include a recurring role on USA's Queen of the South and a lead in the gritty indie feature film, Sno Babies, where she portrayed a young heroin addict. Her performance shed light on the ongoing national opioid crisis.
