Pascal Ulli is a multifaceted individual who has been actively involved in the entertainment industry since 1993. As an actor, producer, and director, he has accumulated an impressive portfolio of work, including over 60 film roles and 30 theater roles.
Born in Bern, Switzerland, Pascal grew up with a deep passion for the theater and filmmaking. He was trained in New York at the renowned HB Studio under the direction of Uta Hagen, where he was exposed to the American art of acting and decided to dedicate himself to Method Acting.
Throughout his career, Pascal has received numerous accolades, including the Cineprix Telecom award for "Best Promising European Actor" in 1996 and a nomination for the Swiss Film Prize Quartz in 2014 for his portrayal of Ueli in "Der Goalie bin ig". He has also won the Best Performance Award at the Desenzano International Film Festival in Italy in 2022 for his work in "Phlegm".
As a producer, Pascal has founded and produced Off Off Bühne, which won the "lmpulsepreis 1998", and Independent Theateer Produktionen. He has also produced three feature films and 31 plays.
In addition to his work in film and theater, Pascal has also made appearances in popular television series, including "Tatort", "Lüthi und Blanc", "Der Bestatter", "Wilder", and "Die Beschatter" in Switzerland, and "Tatort", "Wilde Engel", "Polizeiruf 110", and "Dengler" in Germany. As a director, Pascal has been invited to the Fringe Festival in New York with his first directorial work "The Basketball Diaries", which was a stage adaptation of the famous book and featured Pascal in the role of Jim Carroll. The play was sold out during its run on OffOff-Broadway.
Pascal has also written a motivational book titled "Be a dreamer, become an actor/actress", which aims to inspire young people who want to pursue a career in the film industry or on the stage. The book shares his experiences and offers advice on what it takes to achieve one's dreams.
In his personal life, Pascal is married to Sibylla Ulli and has two children, Maxim and Manon.
