Paul, a multitalented individual, was born in the vibrant city of Nashville, Tennessee, and later spent his formative years on the picturesque Northern California coast. As an avid outdoorsman and accomplished athlete, Paul secured his first paying gig as a star football player in an Eastman Kodak commercial.
His academic pursuits led him to Whitman College in Washington State, where he earned basketball scholarships and graduated with degrees in 17th century English Literature and Dramatic Arts. Following his academic endeavors, Paul transitioned into the world of theater, simultaneously filming feature films, television commercials, and appearing in international print campaigns.
Paul's early career milestones included landing a recurring role as "Paul Hornsby" on the ABC daytime drama General Hospital from 1991 to 1994. This experience laid the groundwork for his future prime-time endeavors and led to his involvement in the CBS summer series Hotel Malibu, where he starred alongside Jennifer Lopez.
