Paula, known as the Real Deal, is a talented British transplant to the United States who began her career as a singer and improv troupe member in England.
As a teenager, Paula toured England with Theatre in Education Groups, performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and earned the prestigious LAMDA Gold Medal Award.
She then completed the American Conservatory Theatre's Summer Program and became a member of San Francisco's TheatreSports 2nd Sunday Company before attending Carnegie Mellon's prestigious acting program, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Paula is a member of Pittsburgh TheatreSports and was the instigator of the first ever Los Angeles Showcase for CMU graduates. She is a nominee for the LA Theatre's Ovation Award and the founder of the Ecstatic Theatre Ensemble.
In addition to her acting career, Paula is a stand-up comic who has performed at various venues, including the Laugh Factory Hollywood, House of Comedy - Phoenix, Punchline, Laughing Skulls - Atlanta, 3Es Colorado Springs, St. Marks Comedy Club NYC, The Comedy Store, Flappers Comedy Club, The Hollywood Comedy, and Glendale ComicCure.
Paula is also a regular headliner and game show guest on the WOLF LIVE app and hosts her own YouTube show, Cosmic Chats.
As a voice-over artist, Paula has lent her voice to over 100 TV and films, specializing in young teens, British boys, Scottish lasses, Aussie gals, period wenches/maids, and sassy characters.
After sustaining an injury while working on her computer, Paula became a Vedic Meditation teacher and founded Aware Meditation Inc., a non-profit company providing a self-sufficient meditation technique for low-income, underrepresented groups globally.
Rise Up Comedy is the outreach extension of Aware Meditation, fusing comedy and mental health as a healing modality. Paula is a speaker at sober conferences, addressing meditation techniques for those in recovery with busy minds, pain management centers, and inspirational speaker to first-generation college students.
