Peeter Simm, a renowned Estonian film director, took his first breath on February 24, 1953, in the charming town of Kiviõli.
As he grew older, Simm's passion for the cinematic arts only intensified, leading him to pursue a higher education in the field. In 1976, he successfully graduated from the prestigious All-Union State Institute of Cinematography, also known as VGIK.
