Peter Shinkoda is a multifaceted individual, renowned for his captivating portrayals of Dai in Steven Spielberg's acclaimed television series Falling Skies and the complex character of Nobu in Marvel's gritty and action-packed drama Daredevil, which premiered on Disney+.
Beyond his impressive acting career, Shinkoda has also had a stint at the renowned Warner Bros. Studios facility in Burbank, where he worked as an employee in the Post-Production department during the 1990s. Starting out as a production assistant, he gradually honed his skills, becoming an apprentice editor and eventually an assistant editor.
During his time at WB, Shinkoda furthered his education by studying Post Production for Film & Television at the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA),and completed the AVID Editing program at Video Symphony in North Hollywood. This comprehensive training enabled him to excel in the editing department, working on various Hollywood features, including Romeo Must Die, Rat Race, Freddy Got Fingered, and many more.
