Following his departure from the Monkees, Dolenz took a hiatus from the music industry, only to resurface in 1982 with the release of a solo single.
In 1986, Dolenz rejoined the Monkees for a series of tours and performances, which continued until 1989.
After a brief hiatus, Dolenz released his debut solo album, "Stranger Things Have Happened", in 1994, marking a new chapter in his solo career.
